Australian rock legends INXS will be debuting a brand new song tonight as they perform in front of a 30,000 strong crowd tonight, as they celebrate Australia Day at a concert in Canberra.
The performance will be streamed live on Australian channel ABC1 tonight, and will see the band debut their brand new track ‘We Are United’. The gig will be held in Parliament House. INXS will be alongside acts such as Katie Noonan, The Captains and The Potbelleez, in a performance that will really ensure Australia celebrates in style.
“It is always a wonderful experience to play in front of our Australian friends and family,” INXS drummer Jon Farriss said, “but to be invited to headline such a prestigious event is an honour.”
New frontman Ciaran Gribbin added: “Working as the lead singer in such an iconic band is an honour in the first place, but performing here on Australia Day is something I never would have imagined.”
