Norwegian experimental quartet The Megaphonic Thrift have released a new video for their track ‘Moonstruck’, which is taken from their eponymous second album. ‘The Megaphonic Thrift’ is the follow-up to the group’s 2011 debut ‘Decay Decoy’ and was released earlier this week. The new video to ‘Moonstruck’ is available to watch below.
The Megaphonic Thrift are based in Bergen, Norway and their line-up includes members of fellow Norwegian acts Casiokids and The Low Frequency in Stereo.
Speaking about the new album, Megaphonic Thrift bass player Linn Frokedal said: “It is spontaneous and schizophrenic because of how we wrote the songs. There were no rules so the diversity of the songs came naturally. It is lighter but also darker at times than ‘Decay Decoy’. In a way it is like a mirror for what has inspired us since that album was recorded.”
