Stephen Fry Tweets New Video from Cardiff’s Toy Horses – Watch Now

Thursday, 09 February 2012 Written by Rob Sleigh

Stephen Fry has once again shown his approval of Cardiff-based indie duo Toy Horses by tweeting the new video for their single ‘Play What You Want’, which is due for release on 20th February. Speaking via his widely-followed Twitter page, Fry said: “There's something about Toy Horses: this charming new number and video confirms my fondness for them.” The video is available to watch below.

Last year, the well-known tweeter described Toy Horses as “his new favourite indie band” after the duo name-checked him in their song ‘What About The Future’. Their new single ‘Play What You Want’ is taken from the band’s eponymous debut album, which is due to be re-released on 27th February as a new Deluxe Edition. The album has also earned Toy Horses support from the likes of Jonathon Ross, Dermot O’Leary and US radio DJ Nic Harcourt.

‘Toy Horses’ was produced by former Wilco drummer Ken Coomer and features Counting Crows drummer Jim Bogios. The band will be on tour in the UK next month – see below for dates.
