X-Factor runner-up Olly Murs performed his hit single ‘Heart Skips a Beat’ at the BRIT Awards last night, alongside Brighton pop and hip-hop duo Rizzle Kicks and about 70 dancers. If you missed the brilliant performance, check it out in the video below.
The performance was considered one of the best of the night, and it was that track which saw Murs receive a nomination for Best British Single – though he lost out to One Direction’s ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ in the end.
Murs enjoyed himself at the show but joked with ITV2 afterwards: “We’ve had an interesting couple of days surrounded by 70 dancers. I had to shoot out of this lift and I was nervous that if I shoot out and fall over it’d be one of those moments that would ruin my career. It’s been an amazing night and also been incredible to see all the other performers including Adele, Coldplay and Blur.”
Whilst you can re-live Murs’ performance by watching the YouTube video below, you can also catch him in the flesh at one of his many up and coming UK tour dates, which will see him making his way to Aberdeen’s Exhibition and Conference Centre tonight.
