Electronic production duo Chase and Status could be working with Barbados-born beauty Rihanna on some new material, it’s been revealed.
The pair, who were catapulted into the mainstream scene with the release of their last album, have apparently been meeting up with RiRi with a view of producing a song for the superstar singer, who is currently working on a new album.
Will Kennard, one half of Chase and Status, told Digital Spy: “We saw her recently and caught up with her at the O2 a few months ago and we talked about it then. She's always looking to write on interesting sides of music. It's just finding the time really, we're still artists as well as producers. We're currently trying to get album three finished. We love what she does and any chance we'll get, we'll take!”
Chase and Status are currently working on their third studio album, and hope to release at some point in the year. If you’re a fan, you can catch them at this year’s Download Festival as well as electronic music festival South West Four. Check the link below to find tickets to either event.
