Hot-on-the-heels of the release of debut album 'Barton Hollow', The Civil Wars took to the streets of London to cover Portishead's 'Sour Times'. Check out the performance below.
Following a sell-out Union Chapel performance in September last year, the band return to the UK for a full tour in March and then again in the Autumn.

The Civil Wars are a new band fresh out of Nashville. They released their debut UK 7” single ‘Barton Hollow’ independently on their own Sensibility Music label in October. They released their debut album of the same name on 1st February.
An enigmatic duo, comprised of California-to-Nashville transplant Joy Williams and her Alabaman partner John Paul White, are a huge DIY success story in the US having independently sold over 170,000 copies of the ‘Barton Hollow’ album already through touring and word of mouth. The album reached Number One on the US iTunes chart and the duo have received widespread critical acclaim for their music and live shows.
