Lostprophets Unveil Video For New Single 'Bring Em Down' - Watch Now

Lostprophets have today unveiled the video for their new single ‘Bring Em Down’. The track is released on 26th March and is taken from their new album 'Weapons', which is released on 2nd April.

Debuting the track on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio show in February, frontman Ian Watkins went on to talk about the single and revealed that there would be another single coming out before ‘Weapons’ hits shelves.

“Yeah, there is another one,” Watkins told Lowe. “It's not a power ballad - that's the fourth single down the line!” He went on to talk about the idea of the band playing festivals this summer - and his mother's opinion of the new record. “I'm still waiting to headline Reading. I've been waiting since 2001! I played the album to my mother and she said it reminds her of Will Smith and Jack Johnson.”

The bloodied action video, which was shot in LA, shows frontman Ian Watkins held hostage as his bandmates fight to free him. Check it out below.

It’s been two years since the Welsh rockers released their fourth studio album, ‘The Betrayed’ (January 2010). Two very hectic years. After successful tours of the UK and Europe, on which they played in front of tens of thousands of people, Kerrang! Magazine bestowed the prestigious ‘Classic Songwriters Award’ on the band.

Lostprophets are a band whose members have known each other since their school days in Pontypridd, South Wales, a group that were friends long before they became bandmates and colleagues. Through their four previous albums – 2000’s ‘fakesoundofprogress’, 2004’s ‘Start Something’, 2006’s number one ‘Liberation Transmission’ and 2010’s ‘The Betrayed’ – the sextet have risen from the clubs of England to the stages of Wembley and other impressive arenas. They hit the road for their 'Weapons' UK tour during April and May. Lostprophets UK & Ireland Tour Dates are as follows:
