London-based rapper and singer Dizzee Rascal has told Metro that he won’t be releasing a new album any time soon – unless it’s a really, really good one.
The star is busy working on what will be a fifth studio record and is expected to collaborate with Calvin Harris and maybe even superstar rapper Snoop Dogg – but the LP won’t see the light of day unless it reaches his and his fans super high expectations. But luckily, the ‘Dance Wiv Me’ star is ‘confident’ that he’ll put out an album worth getting your hands on.
Mr Rascal told the paper: “I don't want to put out a good album. I want it to be amazing like because I know people are expecting a lot from me, and I'm confident. I'm probably in the best space for making an album as far as being relaxed. I want people to dance, jump around and say 'Yeah that's the shit.'”
Dizzee Rascal has a number of festival appearances lined-up for the summer, including a headline slot at Snowbombing and Splendour Festival. If you want tickets or want to find out more info, check the link below.
