Shifty Shellshock, frontman of Los Angeles rap-rock band Crazy Town, has fallen into a coma according to reports from TMZ.
The rapper and singer is currently in an unconscious state because of unknown reasons – though many suspect the causes may be drug related – and is currently being held in an LA hospital’s intensive care unit.
The 37 year-old has got a history of wild behaviour, trouble with law and substance abuse, and some may not find it a surprise that his sometimes reckless antics may have now landed him in a coma.
The star was arrested in 2000 after throwing a chair through a window whilst drunk. He also managed to land himself in the California Institute for Men for attempt burglary and consistently using and selling drugs. He’s also known to have struggled with drug addictions in the past.
Shellshock, a.k.a Seth Binzer, was most recently arrested at his home because of accusations of domestic violence – something which he claims ‘he did not do’. Binzer says that the police came to his house because his girlfriend was being loud – and ended up arresting him because of outstanding warrants from an altercation with a bouncer in 2006.
We wish Shifty a quick and speedy recovery from his coma.
