Twin Atlantic New Single 'Make A Beast Of Myself' Added To Radio 1 A List

Twin Atlantic are currently hitting your airwaves with their infectious new single 'Make A Beast Of Myself' out on April 23rd. The single has just been added to the Radio 1 A list - their previous single 'Free' was on the A list for an unprecedented 8 weeks! Twin Atlantic will also be the subject of a Channel 4 music special which airs on April 25th.

In other news, Twin Atlantic are honoured to announce they have been nominated in the Scottish Album of the Year awards. The 20 strong long list which includes releases from other Scottish Artists was revealed yesterday. The list was chosen by 100 nominators from across the Scottish music industry.  

Speaking about the nomination, Twin Atlantic commented: "We are extremely honoured to be on the long list of contenders for the inaugural Scottish Album of the Year. This is a fantastic platform for Scottish artists and we hope this is an award that will grow to rival long standing establishments."
 
To celebrate Record Store Day, Twin Atlantic will be doing an exclusive in-store signing at Soundclash in Norwich ahead of their show that night at The Waterfront on April 21st.  The signing will begin at 6pm so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

The band will be releasing a limited edition 7” vinyl picture disc of 'Make A Beast Of Myself' for Record Store Day on April 21st.  Their epic cover of 'Who You Are' by Jessie J - which was performed in the Live Lounge on BBC Radio 1 on Fearne Cotton’s show, received a rapturous response and will be the exclusive B side only available on this limited picture disc vinyl.

Currently smashing venues across the UK  on their biggest and fastest-selling headline tour - Twin Atlantic will be special guests on a run of dates with blink-182 this summer. The band will also be joining the famous Vans Warped Tour and have recently been announced for a main stage performance at  T In The Park in Scotland on Sunday July 8th.  Expect more festival announcements in the coming weeks!

June 15th - Manchester Arena
June 16th - Birmingham LG Arena
June 17th - Sheffield Motorpoint Arena
June 19th - Newcastle Metro Radio Arena
June 20th - Glasgow SECC

Twin Atlantic have teamed up with Ivan Minsloff (www.ivanminsloff.com) to create 9 limited edition tour lithographs for their current 'Beast Of A Tour'. Each show has a different poster based on the 7 deadly sins - a few lucky cities will get a special edition version featuring all 7. A very limited number are available at each show - so be quick, as once they are gone that's it!
 
In conjunction with Jack Daniels and NME, Twin Atlantic will be playing an intimate show at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut on May 3rd as part of their search for Britain’s Best Small Venue. Voting is now open at www.nme.com/smallvenues for users to vote for the UK small venue they think is the best in the land.
