Following the news that the second wave of tickets has gone on sale for his debut headline show at The O2, London on June 4th, Avicii has now revealed the full DJ line-up of who will be building the crowd up in preparation for one of the hottest shows of the year.
Joining Avicii to celebrate the double Jubilee bank holiday in style will be Dutch house supremo Chuckie. Renowned for his tracks ‘Let The Bass Kick’ and ‘Aftershock’, Chuckie is a worldwide DJing phenomenon whose explosive beats and ability to cross styles effortlessly never fails to win over legions of fans whenever he plays.
The meteoric rise of progressive and electro house DJ, Hardwell, continues having gained high praise from dance luminaries for his breakout bootleg ‘Show Me Love vs. Be’. Having made a name for himself for his fresh and open-minded approach to music, Hardwell’s identity and musical development can be summed up in a single phrase; big room house.
Swedish duo Alexander Björklund and Sebastian Furrer AKA Cazzette will also be joining the bill. Already supported by David Guetta, Tiësto, Swedish House Mafia, Avicii and Martin Solveig to name a few, these young Swedes are about to take over the world with their infectious take on electronic music - simply coined Dub House.
Opening proceedings on the night will be Kiss stalwart Steve Smart. Providing the soundtrack to the weekend for countless ravers across the country, Steve is one of dance music’s leading lights showcasing the hottest new dance music around who regularly destroys dancefloors across the globe.
Avicii’s 02 headline show will be the first time his UK fans will have had the chance to check the 22-year old live in action, since his meteoric rise to fame and his recent performance alongside Madonna at Ultra Music Festival 2012.
