Welsh singer Marina and the Diamonds has announced that she’ll release brand new single ‘How to be a Heartbreaker’ on October 15th - you can check it out below.
A powerfully addictive adrenaline rush of genius modern pop. ‘How to be a Heartbreaker’ is a brand new track which has been added to the US version of Marina’s ‘Electra Heart’ album. Produced by Dr Luke (Katy Perry, Rihanna, Jessie J) and co-written by Marina, ‘How to be a Heartbreaker’ was conceived after the UK version of the album (which went straight in at #1) was finished, and will appear on a UK version of the album at a later date. Meanwhile, Marina’s ‘Primadonna’ single (her first UK top ten single release) is rising fast on the US Top 40 Radio Chart as it leads her ‘Electra Heart’ campaign there.
‘Electra Heart’ has been released to rave reviews in the US where Marina’s own headline tour has sold out, and she continues as support on the current Coldplay world tour across the US and Europe through the summer. Marina has taken her critically acclaimed live show to all points of the globe over the last two years and has firmly cemented a reputation as one of the most enthralling performers around. The Times said her recent London show at The Tabernacle was ‘a fabulous, drama -packed performance that echoed Katy Perry and primetime Madonna’.
The release of the new single will coincide with Marina’s up and coming UK tour, which kicks off on September 30th. If you’re a fan and need tickets, check the dates and details below.
