Carly Rae Jepsen To Collaborate With Justin Bieber On New Album

Canadian singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen - a.k.a author of the exceedingly irritating yet infectiously catchy mega-hit ‘Call Me Maybe’ - has revealed that she’s collaborated with fellow Canadian Justin Bieber and party-rock stars LMFAO.

The 26 year-old, who’s probably still dizzy from the extreme heights her huge-selling single has taken her to, is working on her second album (her first, ‘Tug of War’, came out in 2008) and has revealed that it’ll feature collaborations with the stars, as well as a track featuring FUN guitarist Jack Antonoff.

“[The collaboration with Antonoff] was sort of a random collaboration of us both really digging what the other person did,” Jepsen told MTV News. “The way my album has come together has been sort of a shock for me. The last collaboration is a song with Justin Bieber. We're gonna do a little duet.”

She continued on to talk about the style of the material on the record, saying: “Then the rest are sort of like, I think Call Me Maybe is a pretty fair representation. It is pop, but there's also dance-pop and a little hint of folk-pop.”
