Gallows Ready To 'Flush Shit Music Away' With New Record

It may be a statement repeated by music elitists and fans across the world alike, but Gallows think that ‘90%’ of today’s music is pretty crap, however, we’re apparently now in luck - because they believe their new album is the ‘flush’ that’ll suck away the ‘shit’ which has surfaced in their absence.
The Watford-based hardcore punk outfit have been away from the scene for a while, after losing former singer Frank Carter and gaining former Alexisonfire star Wade MacNeil. Now, with their eponymous third record on the way, the band are ready to push their sounds back to the forefront of the heavy music scene - and remove the ‘shit’ stuff that’s taken their place.
“I’ll say it again, 90 per cent of the bands that seem to be doing alright right now are fucking shit,” says bassist Stuart Gili-Ross. “It’s just watered down, doesn’t provoke any kind of emotion – in me, anyway. They’re just out there selling t-shirts and a hairstyle.”
He added: “I think in the space of time between our last record and this album, we’ve kind of gone away a bit and it’s allowed the shit to float to the surface. This new album is just going to be the almighty flush. We’re going to do what we always do which is just put good music at the top again and let people realise that these bands aren’t going out performing with passion every night.”
