Soulfly Announce October UK Tour

Arizona-based heavy metal outfit Soulfly have announced a short October UK tour, following the release of their eighth studio album ‘Enslaved’ earlier this year.

The band, who’ve seen the addition of brand new bassist Tony Campos and drummer David Kinkade in the past year, will travel across the pond for a show in Manchester’s Club Academy on October 3rd, before travelling to Dublin and Glasgow on the 4th and 5th. They’ll round off the four date excursion with a gig in London’s O2 Academy Islington on October 8th.

Tickets for the shows go onsale this Friday at 9am, and will cost £15.00 + fees in Manchester and £17.00 + fees in Glasgow and London. If you’re a fan and need tickets, you can find them through Stereoboard by checking the links and details below.

The announcements come less than a month after the band completed a three date mini-tour earlier in July, and follows the release of their eighth studio album ‘Enslaved’, which hit #82 in the US Billboard 200 Chart.

'Enslaved' was recorded in late 2011 in Tallcat Studios in Phoenix, Arizona and was produced by Zeuss and frontman Max Cavalera. Released in March, it is the first to feature Asesino frontman Tony Campos on bass, and former Borknagar drummer David Kinkade on drums. Guests on the album include Dez Fafara of Coal Chamber and DevilDriver and Travis Ryan of Cattle Decapitation.

New drummer David Kinkade described the new album as like “‘Arise’ on crack”. Earlier this year lead single 'World Scum' surfaced as a free download for 48 hours, while another song, 'Gladiator', leaked onto the internet in February.
