Babyshambles and Libertines star Pete Doherty has confirmed a brand new date in London’s Nambucca, which will take place on October 24th.
The new date follows the recent cancellations of three UK September dates, and will also see Doherty joined by The New Cut Gang, Florida Room, and MC iPod. Tickets are onsale now and will cost you £20.00 + fees - you can find yours through Stereoboard by checking the dates and links below.
The new gig is one of Pete’s first solo appearances in the UK since he entered rehab earlier this year, and follows three cancelled Scottish gigs. The announcement of the gig has actually angered a number of his fans, who see it as ‘two fingers’ to his fans who booked days off work and spent hundreds of pounds on travel and hotels only for the gigs to be cancelled.
One fan wrote on the French Dog Writtles Forum: “Would normally have gone to this coz I love Nambucca but I really feel like he's somehow crossed the line now with the Scotland cancellations. Like you say, just sticking twos up in everyone's faces.
“Can't believe the people on his Facebook laying into anyone who complains about losing money ect and saying there not true fans. Don't think anyone would take a couple days off work and spend upwards of £200 in hotels and travel if they aren't a fab? [sic]”
