Peter Doherty is a singer-songwriter from Hexham, Northumberland.
He began his music career in 1997, as a member of the The Libertines. The band recorded two albums that reached cult status—‘Up The Bracket’ in 2002 and ‘The Libertines’ in 2004—before splitting shortly after the release of their self-titled LP. The band reformed in 2015, armed with a brand new record in the shape of 'Anthems For Doomed Youth.' Aside from The Libertines, he has released three albums with his new project Babyshambles, as well as four solo records. His latest, 'The Fantasy Life of Poetry & Crime', arrived in 2022.
