The Prodigy Announce London Brixton Academy Shows & Tickets

Last Friday, we reported that The Prodigy would be making a big live announcement today. Well, we can now reveal that The Prodigy will be performing two nights at London's Brixton Academy this December to celebrate the 15th anniversary re-issue of breakthrough album 'The Fat Of The Land'. Tickets for The Prodigy's London shows will go onsale this Friday at 9am.
The band are currently working on their brand new album ‘How to Steal a Jet Fighter’, and are also reissuing their world-famous, 3x platinum 1997 album ‘The Fat of the Land’ in celebration of 15 years since its release. With the reissue set for a December 3rd release, and a load of new material ready to be played, the band are set to rock the roof off London’s Brixton Academy (twice!) - with the help of a couple of friends.
On December 18th, The Prodigy, along with dubstep original Caspa, DJ extraordinaire Jaguar Skills, Southcentral, and DJ Gedo Super Mega Bitch (Keith Flint’s Wife!), will be performing in the Brixton Academy to what we can only imagine will be one immensely hyped crowd.
The following day on the 19th, The Prodigy will return to the Academy, this time joined by Caspa, Dutch drum and bass heavyweights Noisia, American hip-hop, dubstep and electronic producer Araab Muzik, and DJ Gedo Super Mega Bitch for round two in the destined-to-be-destroyed venue.
A message from the band on the official poster reads: "Yo my peoples... fired up to be bringing Warrior's Dance back to the UK for it's London debut at Brixton. We're gonna finish 2012 in style with a mega line up of beats, bass n noise. We are coming home. Respect. Keef, Liam & Maxim."
