Scottish indie-rockers The View have told of their excitement ahead of their slot supporting Manchester rock legends The Stone Roses next year.
The band will be warming up the crowd for the Mani and co. when they hit Glasgow Green on June 15th next year, and can’t contain their excitement ahead of what they’ve described as ‘the most perfect gig ever’.
The View bassist Kieren Webster told the Daily Record: “That's definitely a box ticked off. It's an amazing line-up and I can't believe it. That's going to be the most perfect gig ever. I didn't want to celebrate until I knew it was definite, which was last Monday.
“Mani is probably my biggest inspiration as far as bass playing is concerned. He is cool. I can't wait to play the gig to a Glasgow crowd that will be loving The Stone Roses and I can't wait to hang out backstage.”
