The Stone Roses are an indie rock band from Manchester, consisting of Ian Brown, John Squire, Gary 'Mani' Mounfield and Alan 'Reni' Wren.
Formed in 1984, they released their debut self-titled in 1989, followed by ‘The Second Coming’, in 1994, before they disbanded in 1996. Known for tracks such as She Bangs the Drums, I Wanna Be Adored, Fools Gold, Waterfall and I Am the Resurrection. The band reunited in 2012 for a world tour and released two new tracks, All for One and Beautiful Thing in 2016. They have headlined their own shows and tours across the world, including playing three shows at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, a gig at Madison Square Garden in New York, and a show at Dublin’s Marley Park in 2016. Next up The Stone Roses head to Australia for a trio of shows at Sydney Opera House this winter, as well as some huge summer 2017 UK shows in London, Leeds, Glasgow and Belfast.
