Ahead of the Deftones new album “Koi No Yokan” release on Monday, the band have decided to stream it online for free to allow fans and the curious a weekend to absorb it before its official release.
The release of their seventh studio album is set to prove the band don’t need to compromise aggression for ambition. “Koi No Yokan” mixes blunt-force trauma and epic prog-rock atmospherics in one of the most anticipated album released this year.
The success of their 2010 full-length “Diamond Eyes” album saw the Deftones return to the studio with greater confidence and ambition than ever before. The band went on to say, “because we got through making that record, it was so well received and we loved it, it was a confidence-builder”.
Deftones are set to tour the UK in early 2013 with five dates lined up and kicking off in Glasgow before heading to Nottingham, Manchester, Birmingham and London.
Please check below for tour dates and tickets.
