Win Orange Amps Gear With National Learn To Play Day (Competition)

The charity Music For All, organisers of the National Learn To Play Day to be held on 16th March 2013, have got together with Orange Amplification to bring you the opportunity to win a fantastic Orange Micro Terror amp and cab worth over £158.

ImageOn National Learn To Play Day music stores all over the country will be offering everyone free taster music lessons across a huge range of instruments from guitars, pianos and drums to ukuleles, saxophones and bassoons. The aim of the day is to give anyone who would like to try their hand at making music the opportunity to do so.

A host of celebrities and musicians have lent their support to the campaign including Jools Holland, Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason, comedians Al Murray and Harry Hill plus many other celebrities will be appearing at music stores near you.

Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason, commenting on the Learn to Play Day, said: “Learning an instrument helps makes friends, teaches you the real advantages of working with other people to achieve a common goal, and provides an enormous sense of sheer pleasure when almost any music is produced. I’ve been doing it for over forty years and still love it.”

The prize consists of the Orange Micro Terror stack comprising a MT20 guitar amp head and PPC108 cab, which together retail for £158. The Micro Terror delivers a classic Orange sound way bigger than it looks offering 20 watts of power in an amp not much bigger than an iPhone. In fact you can play your guitar along to your favourite tunes from any phone through the Micro terror using a 2.5mm jack.
