London-based dubstep producer Benga will be releasing a special one-off white label edition of his new single ‘Forefather’ ft. Kano later this spring, in celebration of Record Store Day.
The new single will be available on limited edition vinyl on Record Store Day - this year on April 20th - and will also feature the instrumental and acapella versions.
‘Forefather’ is taken from Benga’s forthcoming album ‘Chapter II’, which is set for a release on May 6th. The record will be Benga’s third record and second official full album release, following 2008’s ‘Diary of an Afro Warrior’.
Benga is fresh off a month long UK tour supporting Example, and will be performing a DJ set at Rough Trade East in London on March 17th as part of their Record Store Day launch. For now, you can check out the video of the new track out below - look out for the vinyl this Record Store Day!
