The Rolling Stones, Mumford & Sons And Arctic Monkeys To Headline Glastonbury 2013

The line-up for Glastonbury 2013 has been announced with The Rolling Stones, Mumford And Sons and Arctic Monkeys confirmed as the main headline acts. The Rolling Stones will perform on the Saturday night - the penultimate night. The full line-up ia over at the Glastonbury website www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk.

The Rolling Stones have never performed at Glastonbury before. Speaking about the festival, which is set to draw about 135,000 people, Mick Jagger tweeted: "Can't wait to play Glastonbury. I have my wellies and my yurt!"

Other acts confirmed for Worthy Farm include Primal Scream, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds and Elvis Costello, with chart acts such as Professor Green and Dizzee Rascal also appearing. Among the 190 acts, there are some suprises, including country legend Kenny Rogers, who will be appearing on the Pyramid Stage. Rita Ora, Jake Bugg, Rufus Wainwright and festival legend Billy Bragg are also all set to tread the Pyramid boards.

Over at The Other Stage, festival-goers can see Portishead, nearly 20 years since their debut album 'Dummy' landed, as well as Smashing Pumpkins, Mercury Prize-winners Alt-J and John Lydon's PiL. The XX, The Lumineers, Alabama Shakes and Foals also feature on the bill.

The huge Somerset festival will also host performances from 1970s disco pioneers Chic, Tom Tom Club, rap stalwarts Public Enemy, Dinosaur Jr, The Horrors and Johnny Marr.

This year's Glastonbury is already a sell-out but there will be some resales next month.
