Manchester rocker Liam Gallagher has admitted that he’s ‘sick of fucking idiots’ saying he ‘can't sing’ - and claimed that the new Beady Eye album will silence his critics.
Though their first album was relatively successful (it hit #3 in the UK Albums chart), the former Oasis man seems to have taken a lot of flak for his vocals - and he really wants people to ‘get off his fucking back’. So, keen to prove his haters wrong, he’s made sure the band’s forthcoming second album ‘BE’ doesn’t feature any effects or double tracking in order to make it clear that he’s more than capable of singing a song.
“I'm sick of fucking idiots saying I can't sing, you know what I mean? So I thought fuck this, no effects, none of that double tracking as much. Let’s get in there bare, this is how I sound, man. This is how my voice sounds so hopefully people will like it and get off my fucking back...It’s how I sound round the fucking house or on the back of a camel or whatever.”
