New Wave of British Heavy Metal front-runners, Saxon were in Bristol on Sunday, April 28th, to promote their latest studio album 'Sacrifice', released on 25th February. Stereoboard were in attendance to bring you all the action from the stage.
'Sacrifice', the band's 20th album, features 10 of Saxon's strongest, heaviest, most inspired songs for many-a-year….. 'Less tricks, More Power' says frontman Biff Byford.
The band are currently on a 9-date UK tour and continue the trek in County Antrim on Friday 3rd May before concluding in Oxford on Sunday 5th May.
In Bristol, Saxon thundered through a few select tracks from the new 'Sacrifice' album as well as plenty of classics from their huge back catalogue. ‘Dallas 1pm’, ’747 (Strangers In The Night)’, ‘Wheels Of Steel’ and of course 'Denim & Leather' all feature in the two hour set.
