Last weekend the Heads Of The Valleys became the centre of the rock music world, with Planet Rock's Steelhouse Festival hosting some of the biggest names in rock at one of the most picturesque venues in the world. Stereoboard were at the festival to bring you all the action from the stage.
Steelhouse's star studded festival line-up boasted artists with combined record sales of over 40 million albums, making it easily one of the highlights in the live rock music calendar.
Saturday night headliner Saxon have sold over 17 million records alone with their most recent album 'Sacrifice' receiving huge critical acclaim.
Sunday headliner, former Scorpions and UFO guitar supremo Michael Schenker, has just completed his sell out 'Temple Of Rock' tour.
Record crowds were at this year’s festival with ticket sales outselling last year’s event. Co-founder of the Steelhouse Sally Ann Evans, explains, “Attracting world renowned artists to this area has massively helped to increase the profile of the event but this doesn’t diminish our commitment to provide a platform for younger local talent."
