Watain decided to go into seclusion for over six months to compose 'The Wild Hunt', followed by four long and excruciating months in four different studios to record the beast. With mixing duties handled by the faithful Tore Stjerna at the famous Necromorbus studio in Alvik in Sweden, the album ups the ante compared to Watain’s well received previous releases.
Check out All That May Bleed, the first single from the new album, below.
Taking things to the next step - whatever the costs are. This has always been Watain’s goal from day one and this has never been truer than with 'The Wild Hunt'. The album was released yesterday, August 19, in Europe and today, August 20, in North America through the band’s own label His Master’s Noise and Century Media Records.
