Following last year's run of shows, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legendary rock classic Jesus Christ Superstar returns this month and Stereoboard and Eventim UK are giving fans a chance to win a pair of tickets to the show at Manchester Phones 4U Arena on Friday October 11.
Due to demand, the Jesus Christ Superstar tour briefly returns to the UK and Ireland this month, having kicked-off the short arena tour on October 1 at Glasgow Hydro Arena.
Ben Forster takes on the role of Jesus, starring alongside Tim Minchin, Melanie C and Chris Moyles. Award-winning Tim Minchin is in the role of ‘Judas Iscariot’. Multi-million album selling former Spice Girl Melanie C will take the only female lead as ‘Mary Magdalene’ and former BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast Show host Chris Moyles performs as ‘King Herod’.
Last year's arena tour sold well in excess of 100,000 tickets and generated advance box office sales of over £5 million. Jesus Christ Superstar will give arena audiences the opportunity to witness a full production of the musical including a full staging and live band.
