Bookmakers have now stopped taking bets on Fleetwood Mac headlining Glastonbury 2014.
Mick Fleetwood and co are well and truly back in the saddle, having released some new music earlier this year as well as performing across the globe, including a series of critically acclaimed UK gigs, which even saw Christine McVie rejoining the band on stage.
The band were heavily rumoured to headline Glastonbury 2013 earlier this year but after a US tour announcement ruled them out, it wasn’t long before speculation of an appearance at Glastonbury 2014 started circulating online.
The band were originally given decent odds, which were later slashed to 1/4 (at Ladbrokes). Now, with the rumour mill working overtime and punters weighing in all over the shop, bookies have now stopped taking bets - leaving fans anticipating an announcement from the Worthy Farm festival.
If you’re the betting type, you can still place money on other acts including Daft Punk, who are second favourites at 6/4, and Depeche Mode at the same odds. David Bowie is also 3/1 to perform, while Oasis are surprisingly at 4/1.
