Fat Freddy's Drop - Colston Hall, Bristol - October 2 2013 (Photo Gallery)

Thursday, 10 October 2013 Written by Craig Thomas

Fat Freddy's Drop landed in the UK earlier this month to bring their mash-up of reggae, ska and hip hop to the masses, and we were on hand to capture the action at their Bristol show.

The New Zealanders are on the road in support of their third studio album, 'Blackbird', and treated the Colston Hall to a special gig. Check out our full review here and train those eyeballs below for a raft of pictures from an evening of sweaty fun and deep basslines.

Fat Freddy's Drop began life as a jam band in Wellington, releasing a live EP - 'Live At The Matterhorn' - back in 2001, with their debut studio recording, 'Based On A True Story' following four years later.

Its follow-up, 'Dr Boondigga And The Big BW' continued their ascent and made them household names in their own back yard, with 'Blackbird' arriving back in June.
