Award-winning Canadian troupe Arcade Fire look set to hit UK festivals next year.
Win Butler and co. have already lined-up dates for the North American leg of their Reflektor World Tour, and are well and truly on course to take over the music world once again in 2014.
Today they’ve revealed that they’re hoping to make an impact on the UK festival circuit in the Summer too - and have even hinted at the possibility of reaching Glastonbury!
Speaking to Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2, Butler told listeners:
“Yeah, I hope [we play festivals next year]. It's a special experience. Get your wellies ready!”
Whiley added:
“The wellies have been bought for a certain UK festival – we know the one that has quite a reputation for rain and welly-wearing, we shall leave it at that.”
Nothing official has been said by the band yet but they look more than likely to be reaching Worthy Farm in 2014. You’ll have to stick with Stereoboard to stay up-to-date.
