Headliners Daughter, Jon Hopkins and Darkside lead the first announcement for this year's Beacons Festival, which will take place at Funkirk Estate in Skipton between August 7 and 10.
Joining them on the Yorkshire Dales are the Fall, Nightmares on Wax, Hookworms, Toy, King Creosote, East India Youth, Eagulls, Sweet Baboo, Melt Yourself Down, Money, Traams, Pins, Girl Band, Cheatahs, Menace Beach, Galaxians, Golden Teacher, Championlover and Autobahn.
The first DJs to be confirmed for the festival are Dixon, Roman Flugel, Mano Le Tough, Special Request, Daniel Avery, Max Graef and Aartekt, with weekend tickets priced at £99.50 plus fees and deposit tickets available for £25 up front.
Last year, Django Django, Bonobo and Local Natives took to the stage, and the festival's organiser, Ash Kollakowski, is 'chuffed' with the line up so far for 2014. He said:
“Keeping Beacons going after the flood in 2011 has been really hard, but when Wild Beasts headlined in 2012 the stars realigned and it was totally worth it. Now I don’t think about booking acts just to sell tickets. With Dixon, Jon Hopkins and Daniel Avery on site over the weekend we genuinely feel we have the three best producers in the world at the moment so we are well chuffed."
