Garth Brooks Settles In At The Top Of Stereoboard's Hot Ticket Chart

Country superstar Garth Brooks has hung his Stetson at the top of Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart following remarkable sales for his series of shows at Dublin’s Croke Park.
The 51-year-old Oklahoma native will play to some 400,000 fans in the Irish capital this July, having announced five dates at the stadium, traditionally the home of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA).
Brooks’ inexorable rise sees Beyoncé drop to second spot, with Wireless Festival - headlined this year by Kanye West, Drake and Bruno Mars with a little help from Outkast and Pharrell Williams - in third.
Goth-pop legends the Cure are in fourth after announcing two shows at the Royal Albert Hall for the Teenage Cancer Trust, with PaoloNutini at six with a charity date of his own at the iconic London venue. Sandwiched between the two in fifth spot are One Direction.
Jake Bugg has taken 12th spot ahead of the Eagles and Foals, who announced a last-minute hometown date last week, while Cirque Du Soleil’sDralion show is one place above another new entry in the form of Extreme, who are touring their ‘Pornograffitti’ album. Rounding off this week’s list are Tom Jones, Avicii, Rod Stewart and London Grammar.
