One Direction - consisting Harry Styles, Niall Horan,, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne - signed with Simon Cowell’s SyCo records after finishing as finalists of the X Factor in 2010. Since then, they’ve gone on to become one of the most successful boybands ever.
Their debut single ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ became the biggest selling single of 2011, shifting over 153,000 copies in it’s first week alone. This paved the way for their debut album ‘Up All Night’ to top the charts all over the world - it’s since been ranked 4x platinum in the US. 2012 was dubbed ‘the year of One Direction’ and saw the release of the second 1D record ‘Take Me Home’ - the highest-selling release the year. Not content with global domination, the One Direction boys are expanding even further, having released their 3D biopic film, 'One Direction: This is Us' - made by Oscar-nominated documentary maker Morgan Spurlock. Out in August 2013, it features new hit single 'Best Song Ever', which hit #2 in both the US and the UK. Their next album - 'Midnight Memories' - became their third in as many years, selling millions. It also led to their 'Where We Are Tour', taking them to stadiums across the world throughout 2013 and 2014, as well as a DVD 'Where We Are: The Concert Film' released in December 2014. Following the release of their next record 'FOUR' in November 2014, another smash hit, and topping the album charts around the world, One Direction are now set to make their live return in 2015 with their 'On The Road Again Tour' heading across the globe, concluding with a huge arena tour of the UK and Ireland in autumn 2015, and two massive gigs in Cardiff's Millennium Stadium! 1D are amazing
Birmingham LG Arena on April 17 2013
Saw them in Birmingham on April 17th and they boys were incredible, they are such amazing entertainers. The crowd were absolutely insane for them. There was a good balance of their slow songs and more upbeat songs, so it was all mixed up and you didn't feel bored. It was a excellent night, and out of all the concerts I have been too, it was the best. The show was so good I have already booked tickets to seem them again in Manchester next year! Hopefully I will get another wave from Niall!!

Zayn in the shower OMG!!!!
London O2 Arena on February 24 2013
I couldnt believe what I was seeing on stage at the O2 Arena. They played a huge show that included all my favourite songs from there albums including More Than This, One Thing, Kiss Your and Live while were young. I even got to see Zayn in the shower haha!
They never took themselves too seriously and connected with the fans beautifully throughout. I nearly cried when they ended with Thats What Make You Beautiful!

A definite upgrade in the show!
Manchester Phones 4U Arena on April 20 2013
I saw One Direction on their 'Take Me Home' world tour in 2013. The show was such an amazing improvement from when I saw them on their first tour! The stage presentation was incredible, with the giant screens behind them, the moving platform etc. They most definitely gave an incredible performance and showed off their vocals incredibly!
I had to travel about 8 hours to get to the show and it was most certainly worth it!
