De La Soul will headline Saturday night at this year's Camp Bestival.
The festival, set to take over Lulworth Castle, Dorset, between July 31 and August 3, will also feature turns from Basement Jaxx, James and Johnny Marr.
Rob Da Bank, the event's organiser, said:
“De La Soul have soundtracked my life for the past 25 years since the dayglo hippy daisy age glory of '3 Feet High and Rising' first found its way onto my first plastic turntable. I’ve seen them loads of times since then and they are just one of the best party acts imaginable. Camp Bestival is gonna be a very, very fun place on Saturday night!”
Also on the bill are Sinéad O’Connor, Laura Mvula, Steve Mason, the Skatalites, Peter Hook & the Light, the Cuban Brothers, Chas & Dave, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, the Wedding Present, Public Service Broadcasting, Charlotte Church, Nick Mulvey, the Radiophonic Workshop, Denai Moore, Jaipur Brass Band, the Fabulous Lounge Swingers, Fé, Musafir, Joanne Joanne and Mdou Moctar.
