Blood Red Shoes have released the controversial video for new single Speech Coma, out through Jazz Life on June 2.
Taken from their new, eponymously-titled album, the gruesome video portrays a singer bleeding to death on stage. Commenting on the video, Laura-Mary explained;
“With Speech Coma we wanted the video to represent the unsettling nature of the song. We liked the idea of it being gory, weird and unnerving".
Blood Red Shoes, who are currently playing sold-out shows in Europe, will embark on a UK tour later this month. The dates will be the band’s first since playing a sold-out show at Shepherd’s Bush Empire last January and will feature DZ Deathrays and Slaves as rotating support acts.
