The streets outside might have been reserved for ghosts and ghouls, but inside all thoughts were of a fond farewell. Kids In Glass Houses drew a line under their time together at a packed Cardiff University on Friday night, going out in a blaze of confetti and pop-rock gems.
Our resident photographer, Craig Thomas of Tallboy Images, has shot the band on multiple occasions during their tenure and captured the scenes as they called it a day just over a year on from the release of their fourth album, ‘Peace’.
Aled Phillips, the band’s frontman, thanked their fans on Twitter in the aftermath: “Last night was surreal. Thanks, stupid perfect KIGH fans. You're the best.”
The band's Cardiff date followed a marathon October farewell tour, during which they played 22 shows to follow up a series of dates in the Welsh valleys and a one-off run through 'In Gold Blood' at Clwb Ifor Bach late last month.
Head below for a full gallery from Kids In Glass Houses' final outing. Adios, chaps!
