Refused have shared their video for Dawkins Christ.
The song is the third to be lifted from their first new album in 17 years, 'Freedom', which is due June 29 via Epitaph. It is the band's follow up to 1998's 'The Shape of Punk to Come', which was released immediately prior to their initial split. Discussing the track, drummer David Sandström said:
"The title refers to the famous biologist whose atheist theology has inspired a semi-cult who in turn sees him as a messianic figure, an irony that partly inspired the lyrics. The music draws from the film scores of Hans Zimmer and Ennio Morricone as well as pre-Reign in blood Slayer."

Meanwhile, Refused will head to the UK this summer for sets at Reading and Leeds. Point your mouse here for Ben Bland’s recent feature on their return.
