The Sessions 'A Live Re-staging Of The Beatles At Abbey Road Studios' 2016 Tour Announced

The Sessions will take 'A Live Re-staging Of The Beatles At Abbey Road Studios' on a UK arena tour in 2016.
The event, which has been described as part blockbuster stage show, part access-all-areas musical documentary, will head to Brighton, Cardiff, Nottingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Aberdeen, Leeds, and Birmingham, followed by two shows in London, between April 6 and May 15, 2016. Tickets go on general sale 9.00am Friday, September 18. Prices start from £40.00 (£55.00 for London), plus fees.
The show is performed by 45 people, seven vocalists who will take on vocal duties for two Johns, two Pauls, two Georges and one Ringo. A further seven musicians will use historically accurate instruments to recreate the instrumentation, while a 21-piece orchestra will play the exact musical arrangements of the original songs with eight studio technicians looking on.
Discussing the show, producer Jef Hanlon, said:
“An incredible amount of research has gone into the show - we wanted to be as true to the original process as possible. All instrumentation, arrangements and vocals will be performed identically to the original recordings - there will even be seven singers to recreate the multi-tracked vocals pioneered by The Beatles. This show does not seek to be a look-a-like show, but rather a sound-a-like, with the singers being the best Beatles imitators in the world. It’s a must for Beatles fans of all ages.”
