Mastodon are confirmed as the second headliner of the Pit Stage at Reading and Leeds this year.
The Georgia metallers will head to the twin site festival, having been set to headline the same stage last year, before pulling out due to personal reasons. They take to the Pit on Saturday in Reading and Sunday in Leeds.
Also confirmed across the weekend are Main Stage headliners Foals, Disclosure, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Biffy Clyro and Fall Out Boy, plus Asking Alexandria, Creeper, Dillinger Escape Plan, Fearless Vampire Killers, Citizen Dead!, Wakrat, Chvrches, the Vaccines, A$AP Rocky, Travi$ Scott, Haim, Jack Garratt, the Wombats, Lower Than Atlantis, Savages, the King Blues, Skindred and Die Antwoord, among many others, with further acts set to be confirmed later this week. Reading festival returns to Richfield Avenue, while Leeds festival is back at Bramham Park, between August 26 and 28. Tickets are on sale now.
