Radiohead guitarist Ed O'Brien has confirmed he will release a solo album.
He revealed the news during a BBC 6 Music interview with Matt Everitt which aired yesterday. When Everitt asked if he had ever considered a solo venture, O'Brien replied: "I haven't up until two years ago, but I am going to now. I'm gonna do one next year."
The guitarist continued to explain how moving to Brazil with his wife and children provided the inspiration for the record. Check out the full interview here - skip to around the 46 minute mark.
Meanwhile, Radiohead released their ninth studio album, 'A Moon Shaped Pool', in May. Check out the recently-shared video for The Numbers, lifted from it, below.
