Girl Ray have shared a new single, Stupid Things.

The track, which is out now through Moshi Moshi, follows Trouble, which was released in November. Discussing the song, vocalist and guitarist Poppy Hankin said:

“It’s about crushing really hard on someone, and finding myself doing fucking ridiculous things to feel like we've got some kind of connection. Watching films that they mentioned fleetingly or ordering their favourite drink at a bar. Very stupid but happens every single time, ha ha”.

The North London-based trio, who are currently on tour with their labelmates Teleman, have also lined up their biggest headline London show to date at the Lexington on May 23. Tickets are on sale now, priced at £7.00 plus fees.

The band will also appear at Sheffield's Outlines Festival and BBC 6 Music Festival in March, Wales Goes Pop in Cardiff and Glasgow's Stag & Dagger in April, and Green Man and End of The Road this summer.

Girl Ray Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Tue May 23 2017 - LONDON Lexington
