Akercocke will release a new album later this summer.
'Renaissance In Extremis' is due to arrive on August 25 through Peaceville Records and will follow up 2007's 'Antichrist'. Check out the opening track, Disappear, below.
The band, which sees Jason Mendonça, Nathanael Underwood and Sam Loynes reunited with drummer David Gray and original second guitarist Paul Scanlan, will follow up the record's release with a UK and Ireland tour in October. Tickets are on sale now.
