Glenn Hughes Joins Black Star Riders As Steelhouse Festival Headliner

Glenn Hughes will join Black Star Riders as headliner of this summer's Steelhouse festival. 

In a UK festival exclusive, the former Deep Purple vocalist, who was part of the Mk III and Mk IV line ups of the band, will perform classic Deep Purple tracks on July 28. Speaking about the show, Hughes said:

"I'm incredibly excited to get out there and play tracks like Burn, Mistreated, Stormbringer and Getting Tighter, as well as some of those older songs that helped define the genre. With this band, I can assure you of a concert that’ll blow your mind."

Also set to perform across the weekend are the Wildhearts, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Dan Reed Network, King King, the Quireboys, Stone Broken and more. 

Steelhouse Festival will take over the mountain top location at Hafod-Y-Dafal Farm in Ebbw Vale between July 27 and 29. Head to steelhousefestival.com for further details. Tickets are on sale now.
