Meghan Trainor has returned with a new single, No Excuses.
The track is her first since her second vocal cord surgery and will appear on her forthcoming third album, the follow up to 2016's 'Thank You', which features a choir comprised of her mother, father, brothers, and fiancé.
Discussing the song, Trainor said:
“I love how so many women are standing up for what’s right. I wanted to write us all a powerful anthem. Sometimes, people talk down to me, because I’ve only been doing this for four years, so I wrote this song. It’s my modern version of ‘R-E-S-P-E-C-T.’ It’s all about equality and being kind.”
