Laura Marling And Mike Lindsay Reveal New Project LUMP, Announce Album And UK Shows

Laura Marling and Mike Lindsay have revealed their new project, LUMP.
The singer-songwriter and founding member of Tunng and Throws/producer will release a self-titled debut album under the moniker on June 1 through Dead Oceans.
The pair met in 2016 when Lindsay was introduced to Marling after she supported Neil Young in London and their subsequent collaboration is said to take influence from early 20th century surrealism and the absurdist poetry of Edward Lear and Ivor Cutler.

The duo will tour the record across the UK. They will kick things off with an instore set at London's Rough Trade East on June 1, following which they will play two shows on each date in Hebden Bridge, Manchester and London, before calling at Cardiff's Festival of Voice on June 8 and Bristol's Rough Trade the following day. Tickets for their headline shows go on sale at 10am on April 19.
