James Bay Shares Live Performance Of New Track Slide

James Bay has released a new track.
Slide closes his forthcoming LP, 'Electric Light', which is due to arrive on May 18 and will follow up 2015's 'Chaos & The Calm'. Discussing it, he said:
"Slide was the last song written for the new album and it felt like a natural closer. Although it’s tone is sad and heavy, it’s essentially about connection - a theme which, with hindsight, this album is really hinged on - and hope, despite the fact it doesn’t always work out. I guess it goes back to the nature of why I love songwriting - because a song promises the possibility of connection with other people - so we chase those flashes of creativity even when they sometimes lead us astray.”

Bay will tour extensively to support the new record, but before any headline dates will appear at BBC Music's The Biggest Weekend in Swansea on May 27. He will also support the Rolling Stones at London's Twickenham Stadium on June 19.
