Husky Loops have shared a new single, Daft.
The track follows up When I Come Home, which was released in February. Speaking about it, the band's Pier Danio Forni said:
“I wanted to write a song that talks two ways about being selfish something that shows both faces of the coin. I liked the idea of someone listening to the song and react to it in one or the other way. When I wrote the song I had to escape a situation I wasn’t happy with, but I also felt I wanted someone’s love only to make it mine.
Musically we wanted every instrument to sound like a sample, like loops and chopped sounds, but also we wanted to keep the live performance untouched.”
Alongside the new song, the band have announced a headline London show at Corsica Studios on October 18. This will follow up a summer of festival appearances, including sets at Latitude, Reading and Leeds, Bluedot, Y Not, and Liverpool Sound City.
