The Smashing Pumpkins have returned with a new single.
Solara is the first recording in more than 18 years to feature founding members Billy Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin, with longtime guitarist for the band Jeff Schroeder, bassist Jack Bates and keyboardist Katie Cole completing the line up. The track was recorded at Shangri La Studios in Malibu with producer Rick Rubin.
The last Smashing Pumpkins release was 2014's 'Monuments to an Elegy', while the last to feature this line up was 2000's 'Machina/The Machines of God'.
The legendary alt-rock band recently announced the Shiny And Oh So Bright Tour, which coincides with the 30th anniversary of their formation and will see them play dates across North America throughout July, August and September. Check below for dates.
